I by all means am no financial advisor. However, because life has happened, I have experienced financial struggles. Not from lack of trying, to not struggle it's rough sometimes. So, going from steady income to not, and having to live off credit cards, we sold our first home to pay off all our debts. I know, I know, so many people told us not to do it, but still to this day, 5 years later, the BEST financial decision we made. We took a year of credit repair, getting out of debt, and rented and repaired our credit. Here are some things that helped us repair our credit and get out of debt.. Having a budget is super crucial and yes I know it can be so hard.. But my all-time favorite quote is " If you do what you have always done, you will get what you have always gotten."
Another one of my favorite must-haves is to create an Allowance for the budget, even if it's just $50 bucks for you, and if married, you and your husband a payday so it can be your "play" money! That neither of you can dictate about how it's spent haha, and if ya want something more expensive than $50 ya save it till ya got enough. It can be more also just whatever realistically works in your budget and figuring out what ya can afford after necessities are paid! Here are some printables to help you get to your next step of financial freedom! Now put them to work for you!
